The Silence that Holds Everything

ZOOM ONLY Silence is not emptiness—it is radical inclusivity. Silence is not passivity– it is disruption. Silence is not soundless-it is harmony. Drawing on the teachings of ancient and contemporary Zen masters, such as Hongzhi, Dogen, and Thomas Merton, this talk explores silence as the boundless field at the root of all of life and all activity, where all voices belong, beyond separation and division. In silence, we meet the world without agenda, allowing for the possibility of awakening together. With Sensei Joshin Byrnes and Tom Morgan.
