A celebration of Easter, echoing ancient and modern understandings of Jesus, joy, and resurrection. CVUUS welcomed everyone–people of all backgrounds, many religious and spiritual inclinations, and every age. Many came to this joyful, music-filled celebration of new life. April’s Share the Plate Donee is the Climate Economy Action Center (CEAC).

Congregational Conversation: Energy Conservation with Jean Terwilliger Two weeks ago Rev. Fred Small asked us to consider how we can maintain compassion for ourselves and others while sustaining climate  engagement. This Easter (and almost Earth Day) Sunday we will look at our climate impact on a more practical level. How are we doing at bringing down our carbon footprint as a congregation, as a county, and as a state? What can we do personally and as a congregation? What programs are available to assist with decarbonizing? Bring 12 months of electricity and fuel use if you would like to understand how to reduce your home’s carbon footprint.
