Chuck Collins, the author of Born on Third Base: A One Percenter Makes the Case for Tackling Inequality, Bringing Wealth Home, and Committing to the Common Good , led our worship service. Economic inequity has been a topic explored deeply by our congregation in a classism workshop last fall and in follow up discussions. A book signing and conversation occurred in our sanctuary the night before in conjunction with Vermont Book Shop. You can borrow a copy of Born on Third Base from the CVUUS library.
