In partnership with the Middlebury Area Clergy Association, CVUUS community Social Justice Ministry is sponsoring de-escalation training with other MACA congregations’ members at the Congregational Church of Middlebury on Sunday, May 4^th, from noon to 3 p.m.  Lunch will be served.  De-escalation training equips individuals with the skills to de-risk potentially volatile situations by using communication, body language, and empathy to diffuse conflict and prevent escalation in interpersonal and community situations.  If you are engaged in direct community-facing work, this training is especially for you.  The trainer from the May 4^thsession is Mourning Fox, a truly amazing trainer who trained Tom and several other community outreach leaders in Vermont.  Please SIGNUP and REGISTER with the link provided here.
